It was a gorgeous fall afternoon for the 2nd annual Barktoberfest this past Saturday, October 8, on the front lawn of the Centerville Library on Spring Valley Road.

A fundraiser to benefit both the Washington-Centerville Public Library and SICSA, Barktoberfest was a fun-filled event for both dogs and their keepers! 

Let’s face it – dogs bark. Some do for good reason and some do for apparently little or no reason and some do a little of both. Of course there are also certain breeds that are more prone to yapping than others. The problem is not always the barking but the need for them to be quiet at certain times or when asked.
